Frédéric and Sylvie make this guest house a great place to stay. From your very first morning, you'll delight your senses eating local produce at breakfast under our Berber tent in the Bhou living room. By day we're available to help you plan a custom program of activities and excursions as you explore Marrakesh. In the evening you can enjoy delicious Moroccan cuisine prepared by our own Marakeshi cook, Mina.

Our strengths: A great price for large families, starting at 65 Euros for a couple and three children, and we even offer a room designed especially for disabled persons. Free transport to the airport is available. There is bottled water in the room and mint tea available on request. Riad Nana is located in the oldest part of Marrakesh, not far from the ramparts of Bab Yacout northwest of the medina. The riad is accessible by car and boasts guarded parking in Bab Doukkala.

Come and experience Marrakesh, a magical city!

A good address

By Véronique | Family with Older Children

If you want to stay in the medina, but a little away from the noise and the tourist corners, this is the place. Elegant, comfortable and affordable, we stayed 3 nights in April 2012 (parents in one room, our girls 14 and 16 in another). The bathrooms are fantastic and there are no problems with hot water or pressure. The beds are clean and comfortable.
We had a rented car which we could leave on the street, guarded, for 50 dirhams (5 euros, 4 pounds) for 3 days and nights. We did everything on foot from the ryad (easy access to everything interesting). The house, like any other ryad, is a little echoing, but it was never a problem. The hosts are very friendly and go out of their way to be nice to you. Were were poorly when we arrived (vomiting and diarrohea) and Sylvie gave us hot water bottles and tea. She was very attentive and nothing was too much for her to make us feel at home. We recommend this address and would like to visit again.

Un havre de paix

By Joss | Mature Couple

excellent choice for a Medina stay

By clinton | Family with Older Children

Riad Nana is everything you would want from a stay in Marrakesh. It has a good location in a local area of the Medina and being just inside the Medina walls it also has easy access to the rest of the modern town and taxis to the surrounding countryside.

The Riad itself is very comfortable with lovely rooms, well decorated and with plenty of space. The beds are great, plenty of seating space to relax and good bathrooms.

Even in December breakfast on the rooftop terrace is lovely with a cosseting environment in the outdoors overlooking the old Medina. We ate every evening meal at the Riad and their cook is fabulous preparing an excellent range of high quality local food.

And finally Sylvie and Frederic are excellent hosts. Just what you want from a family oriented guesthouse. They live on-site which is unusual in the Medina for French owners and this adds greatly to the expereince. They are very friendly and welcoming and will provide as much support and advice as you need. We felt they were friends by the time we left. Frederic in particular got along very well with both of our boys aged 11 and 14 and has a great rapport aided by his collection of magic tricks!

Overall we would all wholeheartedly recommend Riad nana for any stay in Marrakesh.
