Overview

Dar Touyir is a small traditional riad located in the famous shopping district of Bab Doukala. Restored in its original style, simple and sleek, in 1997, it was one of the first "Guest houses" of the Medina of Marrakech. Carole, Robert and their team welcome you to spend the best holidays: You move from the bustle of the street to the quietness of the house. When you cross the heavy studded door of the house, you will find yourself in another world, unsuspecting of the street: the courtyard, its fountain, its oranger trees. The salon waits for the privilege of welcoming you for tea, or if you want you can choose the of b'hou, a sort of alcove patio. The sun, shining through the opening in the roof, plays on the columns and wrought iron galleries to decorate rooms with incessant games of illumination. But the true domain of the sun is the wonderful terrace, warmed both summer and winter by the light from the sun. In season it is the perfect place for a pre-dinner drink ... or siesta under the tent. And for even more rest we offer Jnane Tihihit, the nearby farm of hosts Carole and Robert.
