Fantastic riad. Thierry and Hassan made us feel so welcome. Definitely a perfect choice for a peaceful retreat after the hustle and bustle of the medina. Top marks to Fatima for the lovely breakfast, especially the sweet potato jam. Highly recommended.

Beautiful riad in the heart of Marrakech. Great hospitality and beautiful interiors...we loved the garden, the terrace where we had breakfast in the morning and the room which even if it was not a suite was still so big and full of light of very clean! Hassan was very helpful and flexible also with the time for the check out (amazing!) and Fatima was so sweet! We definately recommend this riad as it is perfect good value for money and it will guarantee you have the perfect stay in the magical city of Marrakech.

Bravo

All of the previous reviews are totally correct, we stayed at the riad in May and had a great time. Hassan and Fatama are great hosts, the riad was totally as described by pevious visitors. We also we quite concerned about Marakech but Hassan quicky made us at ease and he couldn't have done more to help us. I also was ill during the visit and again Hussain looked after me and our friends so that I made a very quick recovery. We can't recommend the Riad, Hassan and Fatama more, we will definately go back. Enjoy..!!

To start with I never fill in reviews or forms unless absolutely necessary, but after staying in the Riad Tibibt I feel I owe it to Hassan as he went above and beyond. When we arrived at the taxi drop off point and our bags were put into an open box on the back of a teenagers trike and we were told to follow him through the busy; winding alleys I was a bit concerned that we would never see them again. Several minutes later we arrived at the riad and the lad seemed to be pleased with the two Euros we gave him (it seems that crime against tourists hardly ever happens, they are a very friendly people). Once inside WOW it's a beautifully decorated palace (even has a waterfall and a large orange tree growing inside) Hassan greeted us and made us feel at home and even asked us to treat it like home. After we had unpacked Hassan sat down with us with a pot of mint tea and explained about Marrakesh; the Medina; the Souk and the Riad. We were a bit unsure about finding our way to the main square so Hassan walked us down (don't know what we were worried about) The only way to describe the main square and the souks are by saying they are the craziest places you can imagine. You must eat in the main square on at least one night and at a wonderful restaurant five minutes walk away which you will need to ask Hassan to book (cannot remember the name but it was right at the fountain, first left and first left again) As we were only staying for four nights we spent time picking Hassan's brain for ideas on what we should do and where we should go. Hassan seemed to enjoy us "pestering" him for his knowledge and he organised our excursions- (the cascades/waterfalls are a must) Nothing seemed to be any problem at all for Hassan and he even gave us his mobile number incase we needed any help while we were in Marrakesh. I recommend that you go here within the next twelve months before it becomes overrun with tourists and becomes another Tenerife (they are about to start building posh hotels and complexes near the airport)

Hassan is a great Host and nothing appears to be too much trouble.

We were a little wary of going in to the medina on our own so Hassan took us to the main square explaining the route as we went which meant from then on we had no problems finding our way in & out. He also gave us great ideas for days out arranging a taxi to take us to the atlas mountains where we took a guide and walked up to the waterfall. He also give us some great restaurants to go to.

The rooms are beautifully decorated as is the whole Riad & as we were the only ones there were able t treat it as a home from home.

The location is great just a 15 mute walk to the main square and 5 mins to a taxi pick up point.

Saying in the medina made our stay truly unique although being so near to the souk meant that shopping was all too easy

What a wonderful place! As always, the best recommendations come via word of mouth. We're so happy we chose to stay at Riad Tibibt. Thierry and Hassan turned out to be the perfect hosts in Marrrakesh. The location could not be more central, the accomodation was both dreamy and traditional; everything you expect from an authentic visit to Morrocco. We were lucky enough to spend some quality time with Thierry's visiting parents. There is a lot of love here... the boy's really are doing everything for the right reasons. We came for a friend's wedding and we didn't know what to expect. We would happily return for a romantic getaway... very soon!!

What an amazing riad, beautifully renovated, exquisite decor and a peaceful haven from the buzzing streets of the medina. Thierry and Hassan were so friendly and helpful and knowledgeable. We loved it and our kids aged 11 and 6 loved it. The luxurious experience made us feel very decadent and special. The sumptuous breakfasts we enjoyed on the rooftop allowed us to explore and shop well into the afternoon before refuelling. I'm already telling all my friends about this place and its excellent value. Stay here you'll love it.
