***PROMOTION*** Seotember Special: Book 2 nights and get the 3rd night free!!!
Lurking deep in a picturesque solace in the heart of the medina, just behind the century old wooden heave door lies an oasis of peace and contemplation. An authentic Moroccan Riad where elegance is only matched by serenity. Dar Warda is a beautifully restored traditional Riad. Local artisans created this riad with a respect for tradition and modernity by using traditional techniques such as zelliges, carved woodwork, and tadelakt beijmat from Fes.
Taste the charm of a cup of tea in the "Bouhou" outdoor living room, or experience dinner by candlelight in the dining room with its endless bench. Or read a while in the little cozy library complete with a colorful sabra handwoven ottoman. Relax by the fire in the cool of the evenings. Don’t forget to enjoy the beautiful sunset on the terrace (3 terraces on 3 levels). From that view the Koutoubia mosque seems to entice you to enter the peaks of the Atlas Mountains.
Layout:
The riad is composed of five rooms: two doubles and a
triple.
Around the central patio is a small but beautiful
swimming pool for your relaxing pleasure.

See English translation below.

thank you very much for this great time at your beautiful "dar warda" this riad has been one of the highlights of our time in marrakech. Thanks for your hospitality
From the moment our driver, Mohammed, met us at the Airport and delivered us the short distance to the little ally nearest to Dar Warda, we knew we were safe and caring hands. Abdel at Dar Warda was most helpful in arranging a delicious tagine evening meal on our arrival, and on our behalf made restaurant bookings, organised an excellent English-speaking guide for the Souks, and we had Mohammed's service again for a day in the Atlas Mountains. It was great to be in the middle of the Medina, enjoying peace and simple elegance of Dar Warda. The staff of Dar Warda were unobtrusive, yet smiling and ever helpful. We couldn't recommend highly enough.
The hotel was a wonderful retreat- the atmosphere was calming and relaxed with staff more thn happy to help with questions and requests. The building was wonderfully restored. Breakfast on the sun terrance was a treat and the is was great to receive a breakfast on the day we were leaving even though this was an early departure. Thank you for an enjoyable stay
I spent a couple of nights here in order to explore old Marrakech. Upon arrival this place is very well hidden! Not really known by taxi drivers, requiring help from locals in the street to locate. But wow is it worth the effort! When you arrive you find yourself in an amazing courtyard servicing just a few rooms. Because there are only a few rooms there are only a few staff - but they are amazing!! I have to thank Abdel now as he was a star arranging food for us, booking places for dinner, arranging transport and sending champagne to the roof on request! It really is a little hidden oasis in the old city, only ten minutes walk from the main square. For the price is stunning. I can only recommend you give it a try, you wont be disappointed.
Dar Warda is a small (only 4 rooms) Riad, the local answer to small boutique hotels. The service was excellent, welcoming and extremely discreet. Meals are only available by one-day advance arrangement, and when I asked if I might invite a group of friends staying elsewhere (8 people!) there was absolutely no problem. It was a delightful meal and flawlessly executed. Although the Medina is a very busy place, once you're inside the riad it is extremely calm and peaceful. The roof terraces are wonderful for just reading and relaxing, as well as for breakfast.
Dar Warda - blissful relief from the streets of Marrakech
Coming from the noisy and cacophonous streets of Marrakech, the first thing that strikes on entering Dar Warda is the wonderful peace and tranquility, an unexpected quietness, interrupted only by the gentle murmuring of the courtyard water feature, bobbing with freshly picked roses. The check-in reception we were first met with - juice, tea, cakes, while our documentation was taken to be processed - left a deep impression on two travel-weary and thirsty guests, and in itself would entice us to return again. The style of the tastefully renovated riad is elegant, the service excellent, staff flexible and helpful and the owner very informative and pleasant. A helpful stock of travel books and picture books on Marrakech are available to browse too.
I just wanted to thank you, and the rest of the team, for y our help with this matter. We had a wonderful time in Marrakech and I would like to underline that the Riad Dar Warda is really fantastic, with a perfect service, magnificent rooms and a magic atmosphere, characteristic for Marrakech. The Riad is really significant for Tablet Hotels! Thanks again for your great service and help
see you soon,
ilse
