The warmth and friendliness of Dar Nadir, is coupled with its warm hostess Houda and her architect husband who have renovated this one-hundred year-old riad in the Medina and converted it into a guest house of character.  The ancient, central patio contains a deep blue tiled pool which you can use at your convenience. The patio itself has retained its wooden gallery, ancient carved doors, and windows.

One will find within the riad 5 rooms and lounges decorated in a Moorish style which include unpaired rub zellige (mosaic, traditional Moroccan tile). The riad also is decorated with contemporary paintings of Essaouira, original furniture created by the owner, lanterns, and wrought iron beds with mosquito netting.  Nestled in one end of the riad, one will experience the welcoming refreshment of a hammam (traditional bath) and a terrace. The cook, Khadija prepares delicious samplings of her amazing culinary ability.

Dar Nadir is located in the medina (old Arab city) of Marrakech. In the district of Bab (Gate) Doukkala. This area is located near the ramparts of the Old City. It can therefore be accessed quickly from the airport as one passes through the new city area called Gueliz. Leaving the riad is easy as well. Just ask the driver to take you to a street called "Rue Dar El Bacha" which places you in a neighborhood called "Derb Tizzougarine." The house number is 93 which is at the dead end.  Two staff members are present from 8 to 20 hours (with possibility of extension if evening). Also, another staff member will be there from 20 hours up to 8 hours the next day.  In the case of special parties or receptions, specialized personnel may assist in the organization of meals.
